Chhattisgarh Rajya
Gramin Bank Employee Association (CRGBEA) represent the vast
majority of office assistant/attendants of Chhattisgarh Rajya Gramin Bank (CRGB). CRGB takes it birth on 02.09.2013, through a Govt. of India Order (F.No. 7/9/2011-RRB), amalgamating erstwhile Chhattisgarh Gramin Bank(CGB), Surguja Kshetriya Gramin
Bank(SKGB) and Durg Rajnandgaon Gramin Bank(DRGB) into one entity. Due to the amalgamation there was no association fighting for the equality of office
assistant/attendants. CRGBEA is registered with the
Registrar of Trade Unions, CG under the Indian Trade
Unions Act of 1926 with registration no. 703 on 17.09.2020 by the name of Chhattisgarh
Rajya Gramin Bank Employee Association (CRGBEA).
It is a majority
organization of office assistant/attendants in CRGB commanding membership of about 65% office assistant/attendants. The association has a
membership of over 650office assistant/attendants of Chhattisgarh Rajya Gramin Bank.It is affiliated to National Federation of Regional Rural Bank Employees under the umbrella of AIRRBEA,
the fighting apex organisation of RRB Employees and Officers unions of India
which hold majority membership of over 80% Employees & officers in RRB
sector.Main aims and objectives of the association, inter-alia, are:

Focused on social, recreational, or
professional activities, and potentially advocating for employee welfare and
working conditions.

Foster a sense of belonging, leading to
higher engagement through a support network.

To facilitate cooperation and
understanding among Members with a view to finding solutions to their common
problems and promoting the interests and common goal of the Association and its
Members.
CRGBEA own the legacy and
tradition of a vibrant, militant and committed workforce, who have created
history in the sphere of trade union struggles in the banking sector and have
been instrumental in providing inspiration to the working class, through
successful implementation of agitational programs, in direct confrontation with
the crooked anti-labour policies of the managements of the erstwhile three
RRBs.Along with the executing of various agitational steps headed by our
unions, which had no equals in the history, and on many occasions, which had
beaten fiction, the unions have resorted to legal battles most bravely and
confidently, in accordance with the laid down concepts of constitutional rights
and norms.
